【外国人に受ける風景？】

後編でおわりと思ったんですが、担当者に１つ画像を追加してくれと依頼（？）されたので載せます。ずいぶんと北海道を気に入ってくれたようです！

【日本の印象はやはり…】

今回のブログタイトルをみて、ある文学賞を取った作家のデビュー作っぽいな、なんて思ってしまいました（笑）

それでは後編です。

＜原文＞
What impresses me in Japan is that the food is very good and has very high quality. We were fortunate and did eat the famous Kobe beef and also eat very good tasting sushi in Sapporo.

The Japanese people are very nice, friendly and helpful also.

What´s also quite amazing is that you see so many business people in in dark suits in the centre of the city during the evenings after work. Here in Sweden you normally go home after your work, but I have noticed that in Japan business people go out for eating and drinking, and first after that they go home go their families. This is really different, and quite difficult to understand for a Swede.

Unfortunately we missed the cherry blossom, but we still saw some trees with blossom.

Finally, a visit in Japan gives you memories for your life, and I hope I can visit Japan as a tourist some time in the future together with my wife, and explore as much as we can.

日本に滞在してとても感銘を受けたのは、食事が大変美味しく品質も凄く高いということでした。私たちは幸運にも、あの有名な神戸牛をいただくことが出来ましたし、札幌ではとっても美味しい寿司を味わうことが出来ました。

日本人は総じてとても人当たりがよく、親身で、手助けを苦と思わない人々だと思います。

とてもびっくりしたことがあります。仕事が終わったのに、都市部の中心に濃色スーツに身を包んだ会社員がとても多く存在することです。スウェーデンでは、人々は仕事が終わると真っ直ぐに自宅へ戻りますが、日本人は職場からそのまま飲み食いに出かけ、その後で自宅へ戻り家族に会います。この点は両国の大きな価値観の違いであり、スウェーデン人には決して理解できないでしょう。

今回、不運にも私たちは満開な桜を見れませんでしたが、それでもチラホラと枝にまだ残っている桜の葉を見ることは出来ました。

最後になりますが、日本に滞在することは人生に良い彩りを与えてくれます。私はできればいつか、ビジネスマンとしてでなく、一旅行者として妻と一緒に来日し、いろんな場所を探索したいと思います。

桜も散り、ＧＷも早々と過ぎ去って新緑の季節になりました。すでに腕まくりするほど陽気な気温なので、今年の夏は暑くなりそうな予感！

先月、あるメーカー担当者（ニースへ行った人ではありません）がスウェーデンから来日し、日本滞在の感想を寄せてくれました。

前編（本日）・後編（後日）スタイルで紹介いたします。

＜原文＞
As coming from the small city in south of Sweden with around 12.000 inhabitants, a visit in Japan is very exciting. The centre city of Tokyo has the same amount of inhabitants as whole Sweden, and the city is very big and hard to get a grip of for a foreign visitor. I thought that the prices for food and hotels should be very high, but in comparisation with Sweden it´s not so, hotel rooms are even cheaper than in my hometown Vetlanda. As my visit in Japan is a business visit there is unfortuntately not time enough to explore the different interesting parts of Tokyo.

We also went for a visit to Sapporo, which is well known because of the winter olympics which took place here 1972.

Sapporo itself has the same amount of inhabitants as the 3 biggest cities in Sweden, Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö, so it´s also a very big city for us. At our visit we went north of Sapporo to visit a show house built in Scandinavian style. We met a very friendly house owner here, who was very satisfied with his house and the products our business partner Gadelius has delivered to this.

スウェーデン南部にある人口１２０００人程度の街から日本にやってきた私にとっては、日本滞在はとても興奮に値する経験でした。東京中心の人口はスウェーデン全体の人口と変わらず、海外からのいち訪問者である私には東京という都市全体を把握するのは難しいです。来日するまでは食べ物やホテルの値段は高いのだろうと思っておりましたが、スウェーデンと比較するとそうでもなく、むしろホテル料金はスウェーデンの片田舎と比較しても日本の方が安かったです。今回の滞在はあくまでビジネス目的なので、東京の興味深い裏側をいろいろと探索する時間がとれずに残念な思いをしました。

今回は東京だけでなく札幌も訪れてみました。札幌は１９７２年の冬季オリンピックのおかげでとても有名な都市です。

札幌の人口はスウェーデンの三大都市であるストックホルム、ヨーテボリ（ゴーセンバーグ）、マルメの人口を足したものに等しいです。よって、私たちにとっても札幌は大都市なのです。札幌の北の方にある北欧スタイルの住宅展示場を訪れてみました。また、とても温かみのある施主様にお会いできました。彼は自宅および私たちの日本のパートナーが提供した建材に大変満足しておりました。

【ニースの風景】

日本ではゴールデンウィークが近づいていますが、一足先にニース旅行に出かけてきたスウェーデンの某メーカー担当者のメールをご紹介したいと思います。

『フランスはニースを旅行してきました！都市周辺、シャガール美術館、地中海の浜辺といったあたりを散策しました。ある日、電車で香水の製造工場を見に行きました。その村はカンヌ北方の山の中にありました。別の日には、イタリア近くのモナコへ足をのばしました。素晴らしい快晴と暖かい気候にめぐまれました。有名なカジノへ行き挑戦したところ見事にすりました！港の豪華クルーズ船には目を見張りました。イングマール・ステンマルクとビヨン・ボルグというスウェーデンの有名なスポーツマン夫婦がモナコに住みスウェーデンの（高額な）税から逃れていますが、私にはそんな離れ業は（所得的に）出来そうにないですね』

We had wonderful days in Nice, France! We walked around in the city, visit the Chagall gallery and
walked the beach along the Mediterranian.
One day we went by train to the factories making perfume. The village is just north of Cannes up in the mountains.Another day we went to Monaco, the small principality near Italy. We had a wonderful day with sun and warmth. We visit the famous Casino and lost! We admired all the big luxury cruisers in several harbours.
Ingemar Stenmark and Björn Borg are a couple of well-known Swedish sportsmen that have lived in Monaco to avoid the Swedish taxes. I am afraid I never will be able to move to Monaco.

最後の部分は（スウェーデン式）ギャグなのか捉え方が難しいところですが、ニースにいけるだけいいじゃないか、なんて庶民的な感想を述べてしまう自分自身が悲しい？
